Obituary: Andrea A. Rapuano, 65, of Wallingford

Andrea, who worked at Branford Chowder Pot for 20 years, loved life, the beach, playing Rummy 500, and time with her children, grandchildren

Andrea A. Rapuano, 65 of Wallingford passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on January 6, 2024. Born in New Haven on October 11, 1958 to the late Andrew and Clementina Ridarelli Amendola. She was a graduate of Lee High School, and then went on to work for various restaurants for the next 30 years. She worked at Red Lobster in Hamden until they closed, then went to work at Branford Chowder Pot for the next 20 years.

Andrea loved life, she loved the beach, playing Rummy 500 with her friends and family, but she loved nothing more than her children and grandchildren and spending time with them.
Andrea leaves behind Her children Lauren Grady, Amanda Rapuano, and Michael Jr. (Fiance-Laure Annatone), her sisters Theresa, Louise and Christina Amendola, her grandchildren Shawn Grady Jr., Haley Ann Rapuano, Aidan Grady, Bella Rapuano, and Jaida Rapuano, her former husband Michael Rapuano Sr. and many cousins, nieces and nephews who she loved very much.
Andreas family invites family and friends to visiting hours on SUNDAY January 14, 2024 from 12PM-3PM at East Haven Memorial Funeral Home 425 Main St East Haven, CT 06512. A short prayer service will start at 2:30PM. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
