Obituary: Cynthia Jeanne (Foote) Lynch, 64, of Wallingford

Cynthia worked for Middlesex Hospital, was a past Matron of the Olive Chapter #26 Order of the Easter Star and served as a Grand Organist.

WALLINGFORD, CT - (From Wallingford Funeral Home) Cynthia Jeanne (Foote) Lynch, 64, of Wallingford, passed away on Friday, February 26, 2021. Born in Meriden on January 24, 1957, she was the daughter of the late Onie E. and Jeanne (MacDonald) Foote.

She attended Seymour High School, graduating with the class of 1975.

She married her beloved husband Gary in 1985; and welcomed their daughter, Anne in 1986.

Cynthia was employed by Middlesex Hospital, where she began her career as a surgical secretary in 1988. She was a past Matron of the Olive Chapter #26 Order of the Eastern Star and also served as Grand Organist for the Connecticut Grand Chapter three times.

She is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Gary W. Lynch; her beloved daughter, Anne E. Lynch; her brother, Edward D. (Nancy Saravis); her sisters, Katherine A. (Mark) Scarpulla and Elizabeth J. Foote; her aunt, Rosemary MacDonald; her brother-in-law, Robert P. Lynch; her cousins, Susan (Melody) MacDonald, Paul J. (Michelle) Ritchie and Sharon K. Ritchie; her nieces and nephews, Alicia K. Olynciw, Kanye Tinney, Ryan Scarpulla, Kimberly S. Olynciw and Emma; as well as many extended family members and friends.
