WALLINGFORD, CT - (From Wallingford Funeral Home) David John Astorino, longtime resident of Wallingford, entered into eternal rest on November 10, 2021.Born November 22, 1953 in New Haven, he was the son of the late Michael L. Astorino and Victoria (Geloso) Astorino.David will be missed by his children, Nicholas (Lindsey) Astorino and Felicia (Steven) Vaccarello, and his grandchildren, Jacob Astorino and Valerie Vaccarello. He is survived by his siblings, Richard (Karen) Astorino, Michael (Debbie) Astorino, Angela (Mark) Palumbo, and Terry (Joseph) Napierkowski, as well as his many nieces and nephews. David also leaves behind his dear Linda and Michael Austin, Rayna Naclerio, Blake Franklin, and Vanessa Brittain.David graduated from North Haven High School, served in the United States Air Force, and worked in aerospace manufacturing for over 25 years. He volunteered for the the United States Naval Sea Cadet Corps.David's family will receive relatives and friends at The Wallingford Funeral Home on Sunday, November 14, 2021 from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m. with words of remembrance by his children to be held at 4:30 during calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, November 15, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Fatima Church, Wallingford. Interment with military honors will follow at the State Veterans' Cemetery in Middletown.
