He was born in Bridgeport on August 25, 1948, the son of the late James and Irene (Tanski) Halpin.In addition to his beloved wife, James will be forever loved and remembered by his daughters, Tracy Kristjansson and Janis Grant; his sister, Janice Halpin; 6 beloved grandchildren; as well numerous extended family members and friends.In honor of his wishes, services will be private. Arrangements are under the direction of The Wallingford Funeral Home.
