Obituary: Karen Ann (Bruton) Seifert, 69, of Wallingford

WALLINGFORD, CT - (From Wallingford Funeral Home) Karen Ann (Bruton) Seifert of Meriden, Connecticut, passed away peacefully on September 29, 2021 at Midstate Medical Center following a series of illnesses. She was the wife of the late Robert Seifert.

Karen was born in Meriden CT, March 28, 1952, the daughter of the late Paul Bruton Sr and Marie (Daly) Bruton.

Karen, grew up in Wallingford and attended Lyman Hall High School, graduating class of 1972. She worked for many years as a nurse’s aide at Masonic Home.

he later worked at the Hospital of St Raphael and Yale New Haven Hospital. She was dedicated to her work and a loving, compassionate caregiver to her many patients and family members.

Karen will be missed by her many friends and relatives. She is survived by her brother Paul Bruton Jr and his wife Jocelyn of Guilford, CT, her niece Ashley, and nephews Kyle and Christopher Bruton.

Special thanks to the care and support given in her last days from the staff at MidState Medical Center and the Regency House.

Due to the Coronavirus and in consideration of the wellbeing of family and friends, a Memorial Service will be held at a future date.
