Obituary: Maryann (Cesaroni) Simler, 78, of Wallingford
Maryann,a talented hairdresser, operated a beauty salon at Masonicare for many years and later worked at Topps Marketplace in Southington.

WALLINGFORD, CT - (From Wallingford Funeral Home) Maryann (Cesaroni) Simler, 78, of Wallingford, passed away Monday, December 6, 2021. She was the wife and best friend of the late Jerry Simler.
Maryann was born in Derby, August 25, 1943, a daughter of the late Eugene P. and Evelyn (Falcioni) Cesaroni. She was a hairdresser and operated the beauty salon at Masonicare for many years and later worked at Topps Marketplace in Southington.
Maryann will be remembered for her excellent baking and cooking skills, as well as her unending love of her grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Michelle (Fazio) Behme and her husband Jim of Cheshire, Gina Fazio and her fiancé Vincenzo Valentino of Wolcott, Brian Simler of Cheshire, Wendy Marino and her husband Fred of Cheshire, and Amy Simler of Florida; her grandchildren, Sean Tufano, Hannah Popovich, Hailey Popovich, Alaina Capasso, Emily Marino, Brandon Marino, Samantha Simler, Sydney Simler and Jacob Simler.
Her family will receive relatives and friends in The Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 N. Main St. Ext., on Thursday, Dec. 9th, from 4 to 7pm.
A funeral service will follow in the funeral home at 7pm.
Interment in St. John Cemetery will be private. In lieu of flowers, gifts in her memory may be sent to the Sisters’ Project, PO Box 1643, Wallingford, CT 06492.
