Obituary: William P. Frattini, 76, of Wallingford
Bill, a devoted family man and lover of animals, enjoyed a long, dedicated career at Yale University.
WALLINGFORD, CT - (From Wallingford Funeral Home) William P. Frattini, 76, of Wallingford, died Saturday, January 15, 2022, at Yale New Haven Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Beverly (Cameron) Frattini.
Bill was born on December 22, 1945, in Brooklyn, NY, a son of the late Ernest J. and Josephine (Montagna) Frattini and retired from Yale University in 2009 after a 22-year career.
He was a lover of animals who especially loved dogs and feeding birds.
In addition to his wife Beverly, he is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Joe and Ann Marie Bortolan; his daughter and son-in-law, Heather and Johnny Garcia; his daughter, Marcy Albee; his nine grandchildren, Joey, Christian, Jaiden, Lucas, Mario, Amarie, Olivia, Devin and Ethan; his nephews, Anthony and Michael Frattini; and many extended family members and friends who will all miss him.
Bill was predeceased by his brother and sister-in-law, Ernest and Karol Frattini.
In following Bill’s wishes, funeral services will be private. Gifts in his memory may be sent to the animal charity of one’s choice.
