Obituary: Zulema Maradiaga, 65, of Wallingford
Zulema worked many years as a caregiver and was always loving and devoted to her family.
WALLINGFORD, CT - (From Wallingford Funeral Home) Zulema Maradiaga, 65, of Wallingford, died Sunday, December 5, 2021, at Yale New Haven Hospital.
She was born in Honduras, November 29,1956. A daughter of the late Ortencia Maradiaga and Benjamin Lazo Velasquez.
She worked many years as a caregiver and took care of her grandchildren whom were precious to her.
She is survived by her daughters, Heidy Orellana-Pujols, Fanny Orellana-Lagos and her husband Daniel Lagos, and Nemi DellaVentura and her husband Adam with whom she resided. She also will be missed by her wonderful grandchildren, Gia, Lexie, Gabriel, Camila, Libni, Alexandra, Danny, Daniela, and Ashley.
Her family will receive relatives and friends in The Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 N. Main St. Ext., on Saturday, Dec. 11th from 9:00 to 10:30am.
A funeral service will follow in the funeral home at 10:30am. Interment will be in St. John Cemetery in Wallingford.
