Square Foot Theatre Company Concludes 9th Season with 50th Production!

WALLINGFORD, CT - On the brink of its 10th season, the Square Foot Theatre Company is proud to conclude its first year in its permanent Wallingford home at 950 Yale Ave. with its 50th production – Children of Eden!

Based on the story of Genesis, the age-old conflict of parents and children takes the stage in this epic, heartfelt musical. From musical theatre greats Stephen Schwartz and John Caird comes a joyous and inspirational musical about parents, children and faith... not to mention centuries of unresolved family business! An expansive and ambitious musical, the original production used a cast of sixty. Adam, Eve, Noah and the "Father" who created them deal with the headstrong, cataclysmic actions of their respective children. The show ultimately delivers a bittersweet but inspiring message: that "the hardest part of love... is letting go.
The Square Foot Theatre is an intimate BYO theatre experience. Patrons are allowed to bring food and drinks of their choice. Performances will take place Thursday, August 11th through Sunday, August 14th. The Square Foot Theatre Company is proudly sponsored by The Jamie A. Hulley Arts Foundation.
