A press release from the Town of Wallingford: The Water Division continues its annual water main flushing program during July.  Flushing will be performed on a Monday through Friday schedule between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. The flushing program will remove harmless deposits of accumulated rust and sediment and is necessary in order to improve and maintain water quality. Important: Please check the condition of the water before use, since discoloration of the water and lowered pressures may occur during the flushing.  If you have any questions about the water main flushing program, please contact the Water/Sewer Division office at (203) 949-2666.
