The town will put a new maintenance facility for the Center Street Cemetery on the two properties.

Tuesday evening, the Wallingford Town Council approved spending $238,000 to acquire two properties on Prince Street via eminent domain to accommodate a new maintenance facility for the Center Street Cemetery.
The Record-Journal reports that the town acquired 58 Prince Street for $148,000 and 60 Prince Street for $90,000 through eminent domain to make room for a new maintenance facility for the cemetery.
