Wallingford Man, 34, Charged In Armed Robbery: North Branford Police

The man was arrested following an "extensive investigation," according to police.

NORTH BRANFORD, CT — Police announced early Monday they have charged a 34-year-old Wallingford man in connection with a 2024 convenience store robbery.

It was Dec. 2, 2024 when police were called to RT 17 Smoke and Convenience for a reported armed robbery that had occurred the night before, police said in a news release posted to Facebook.

"Through an extensive investigation, with the assistance of the Wallingford and Meriden Police Departments, detectives identified the suspect as Anthony Pagano," police said.

An arrest warrant was secured and, on March 7, members of the North Branford Detective Bureau served the warrant, arresting Pagano, who was already incarcerated on charges related to robberies in Meriden and Wallingford, police said.

Pagano was charged with first-degree robbery, first-degree threatening and second-degree larceny.
