Wallingford Man Arrested For 7-Hour Standoff With Police
Christopher Blanchard, 44, was arrested Tuesday for the July 13th incident.

A Wallingford man was arrested on Tuesday following a seven-hour standoff with police on July 13th that ended peacefully.
On Tuesday, Wallingford's Christopher Blanchard, 44, was charged with first-degree threatening, breach of peace, second-degree reckless endangerment and unlawful discharge of a firearm. The Record-Journal reports that the arrest is the result of a seven-hour standoff Blanchard had with police on July 13th at 250 Cook Road that ended with him surrendering to police.
One shot was fired during the incident, according to The Record-Journal. Blanchard is being held in lieu of a $5,000 bond and his next court date is July 29.
