A Wallingford man is facing drunk driving charges after police say he hit another driver along Route 9 last weekend.
Frank W. Davis Jr., 65, of 15 Chimney Hill Road, was arrested Sunday and charged with driving under the influence and failure to maintain the proper lane.
Police say Davis was traveling in the left lane of northbound on Route 9 between exits 2 and 3 in Old Saybrook just before 7 p.m., when he crossed into the right lane of traffic and hit another driver.
The accident resulted in only minor damage and no injuries were reported, a report says.
Davis' 2003 Chevy Silverado was towed from the scene, according to a report.
Davis was released on $500 bond. He's due in court on May 23.
