How have the roads in your neighborhood faired during the blizzard? Find out what your neighbors said on Facebook.

As of 7 a.m. Sunday the blizzard warning for Connecticut has been lifted. Over the weekend, Winter Storm Jonas brought over a foot of snow to towns across New Haven County.

No travel ban was issued for Connecticut throughout the storm, but Governor Dannel Malloy warns residents to pay extra attention and caution while driving.

We asked Patch readers how they felt about the plowing done on their block. Here’s what you said:

  • “The roads are fine but whoever plows Summerhill left a pile directly behind my parked car.”
  • “Things are great in my neighborhood.”
  • “Dibble Edge is not the best street to begin with. Still have potholes from last winter! They need to put more material down and hug the curbs. Aside from that, roads look great!”
  • “Croydon Court was done by 5 a.m. I’m glad he leaves a bit at the curb line. No broken mail boxes and no broken curbs. No complaints!”
  • “No, they plowed 4 feet off the curb. I called and was told it is good enough.”
  • “Absolutely, Wallingford DPW does a fantastic job.”
