Wallingford Town Employee Charged With Sexually Assaulting Minor
Harold Winnie, an employee for the Wallingford Public Works Department, is accused of sexually assaulting a female minor at his home.

A Town of Wallingford employee is facing criminal charges after he allegedly sexually assaulted a female under the age of 16 at his home.
Harold Winnie, 65, of Watertown is expected in court on Monday after he was arrested on July 10 and charged with first-degree sexual assault, third-degree sexual assault and risk of injury to a minor. Winnie was arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting a female minor at his home, according to the The Record-Journal.
Winnie works as an equipment operator in the Wallingford Public Works Department. He has not been suspended by the town, but has been using his vacation time since the July 10th arrest, according to the newspaper.
