Celebrated for his masterful leadership of the Zaccai Curtis Quintet and Sonido Solar, Curtis earned the 2025 Grammy Award for Best Latin Jazz Album and continues to push musical boundaries with his highly anticipated 2025 release, Sonoluminescence. A visionary artist and co-founder of the TRRcollective label, Curtis has collaborated with legends including Santana, Eddie Palmieri, Christian Scott, and Donald Harrison. His innovative compositions and arrangements have earned him three ASCAP Young Jazz Composer Awards and prestigious grants, while his educational impact reaches students at the University of Hartford and Western Connecticut State University.
