2 Waterford Stores Cited For Illegal Sale Of E-Cigarettes: Police
The police department said they received a tip about businesses selling products to underage customers.
WATERFORD, CT — Two stores were cited for the illegal sale of e-cigarette/vape products, according to police.
Police had received a tip about businesses selling nicotine/tobacco products to underage customers.
The Waterford school resource officer, the Connecticut Department of Labor, and the Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services teamed up for an undercover operation.

The operation resulted in issuing infractions to two stores: Quick-Eze Mobil at 241 Boston Post Road and Sam's Mart at 125 Boston Post Road.
The stores had THC products not authorized for sale that law enforcement removed. The stores also had "accessible vape products" that were "against regulations," according to police. The items were moved to a secure area.
