Armed Robbery at Henny Penny Under Investigation by Waterford Police

A man allegedly pointed a handgun at the clerk and fled on foot after receiving cash.

On Monday, April 4, 2016, at approximately 12:09 a.m., the Waterford Police Department responded to Henny Penny, located at 26 Norwich Rd. in Quaker Hill, for a report of an armed robbery.

Police determined that a lone male suspect entered the store. allegedly displaying a handgun.

"The suspect demanded money from the cash register from the clerk," police said. "Upon receiving an amount of money, the suspect fled on foot. A K-9 track was conducted, however the suspect was not located."

The suspect is described as:

  • A black man
  • Approximately 5’8” tall
  • Wearing a black/grey hooded sweatshirt and black pants with a white stripe
