Book Barn Collecting Donations in Madeline Guarraia's Name
The Niantic shop is collecting monetary donations for Yale-New Haven Hospital.
The Book Barn is collecting donations in Niantic resident Madeline Guarraia’s name. Guarraia inspired many in the New London County community and beyond, with her strength in her fight against leukemia. Guarraia passed away on April 6 and the loss was felt deeply.
The Book Barn in Niantic is collecting monetary donations that will be sent to the Yale-New Haven Hospital, where Guarraia visited for her treatments.
Any amount would be welcomed and helpful, staff said. Donations may be left with any Book Barn clerk at any of the four locations.
Donations will be sent to Yale at the end of April.
