Freezing Rain Advisory Until 7 p.m.

If you've ventured outside today, then you'll already know that every clear surface is now an ice rink. The National Weather Service has extended its freezing rain advisory, initially in place until 1 p.m., until 7 p.m. today. Sidewalks and roads are treacherously slippery, so stay home if you can and take it very slow. Even four-wheel drive vehicles are no match for ice.
