In an effort to get drivers to slow down, Waterford Police often put up signs to let people know how fast they're going with warnings to slow down. When one of these signs appeared on Brill Avenue in Waterford, local kids found another use for them.
Michael Santangelo and his friends decided to use the speed trap to find out how fast they could pedal past on their bikes. Michael has the fastest speed, clocking in at 13 mph!
"They had a blast!" Michael's mom, Melissa, wrote in an email to Patch. Here's the picture to prove it.
