Sorry, There's No Party At Waterford Town Beach, Police Say
A flier claiming there's a beach party in Waterford this weekend asks "if CT lit." Police say it is not.
WATERFORD, CT — You should not "get the (expletive) out of your housesss," no matter what social media claims.
Police said that there's a flier circulating which erroneously claims there's a party at Waterford Town Beach this Saturday.
The flier requests attendees "bring drinks" and that there will be a bonfire on the beach.

"Lets see if CT lit/ Pack ur carssss" the flier literally reads.
Police, however, have tempered expectations, noting that the the beach closes at sunset, so there will be no bonfires and, alas, no parties.

"Don't pack your cars and bring drinks, cause you will simply have to unload them when you get turned around by our officers and have to return home," police wrote in what can only be referred to as a serious bummer.
