WATERFORD, CT - Waterford residents are being warned about police stepping up speed enforcement around town.
Police said:
“Hello residents of the Fog Plain Road area. From October 27 through November 1, we assigned officers to speed enforcement details in your area. Guess what? People are speeding.

“We stopped quite a few cars during the week and will be making that area one of our routine details moving forward.
“Hello speeders in the Fog Plain Road area. Two things, first...please read what we typed above. Second, if you’re not in the mood to meet our officers when you’re trying to get from point A to point B, please travel no higher than the posted speed limits! I mean the officers are nice and all, but really, you likely have much better things to be doing with your time.
