Waterford Election 2025 Voter Guide: Candidates, Polling Places
Here's what you need to know regarding the Waterford municipal election including the candidates, polling places, voting hours, and more.

WATERFORD, CT — On Nov. 4, Waterford residents cast their votes for several key municipal positions in town. Here's everything you need to know about the upcoming municipal election.
Early voting details
Early voting begins Oct. 20 and runs through Nov. 2. Early voting hours are: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on October 28 and 30.

If you are not registered, but want to vote during the early voting period, you may register in person every day of Early Voting at the early voting location. To find your Early Voting location, visit MyVote.CT.gov or call 860-509-6200.

The deadline to register to vote is Friday, Oct. 17. If you register by mail, it must be postmarked by that date. The deadline for voter registration at the DMV is by close of business on Oct. 17, and the deadline for voter registration online is by 11:59 pm also on Oct. 17.
Same day voter registration
If you are not registered, but want to vote on Election Day, you may register in person on Election Day at your Election Day Registration site People must be registered by 8 p.m. in order to vote using Election Day registration.
Absentee ballot information
To receive your absentee ballot, complete and sign an application and return it to your Town Clerk, or you can request an absentee ballot online.
Election Day polling hours and locations
Polls in Connecticut are open 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Election Day. You can use the Secretary of State’s website to find your polling place. Voters who are in line by 8 p.m. will be allowed to vote.

The Democratic candidates are Joe Filippetti, Ann Peabody and Glenn Patterson and the Republican candidates are Ron Fedor and Harry Colonis. The Yankee National Party candidate is Joshua Steele Kelly
Board of Finance to Fill Vacancy for Two Years, Vote for One
The Democratic candidate is Jerry Fischer and the Republican candidate is Mike Bono
Board of Education, Vote for Up to Four
The Democratic candidates are Kim Hodges, Liz Maiese, Deb Roselli Kelly, and Corlyn Webster and the Republican candidates are Ryan Boyle, Stephanie DeBiasi and Chris Jones
Board of Assessment Appeals, Vote for Up to Two
The Democratic candidates are Jerry Porter and Cathy Barnard and the Republican candidate is Lee Couture
Zoning Board of Appeals, Vote for Up to Three
The Democratic candidates are Michele Kripps, John Morgan and Evan Brown and the Republican candidates are Anne Darling and Gordy Adams
Zoning Board of Appeals Alternate, Vote for Up to Two
The candidate is Warren MacKenzie, a Republican
Representative Town Meeting District 1, Vote for Up to Seven
The Democratic candidates are Ursula Moreshead, Kayla Mullen, Lindsay Khan, Narciss Greene, and JoAnna Bennett and the Republican candidates are Mindy Stone, Ryan Riebschlager, Timothy Condon, Valerie Metivier, and Danielle Steward-Gelinas
