Waterford Offers Warming Centers, Advice Amid Intense Cold
The town has released a statement after the state enacted the Severe Cold Protocol.

WATERFORD, CT — Governor Lamont has activated the State of Connecticut's Severe Cold Weather Protocol. Connecticut will experience a period of extremely cold weather resulting in very low wind chill values through Monday, January 22.
The Town of Waterford encourages those needing a place to warm up go to the Waterford Community Center - 24 Rope Ferry Road, or read a book at the Waterford Public Library - 49 Rope Ferry Road during regular business hours. You may go the Waterford Police Department - 41 Avery Lane after hours if you need a warm space.
