Waterford Police Issue Warning About Training Exercise
Police are issuing an alert about a training exercise scheduled to occur next month.
WATERFORD, CT — Police training is scheduled for Feb. 18 on Goshen Road in Waterford.
Police posted the following on Facebook regarding the training:

This will be the first of three alerts we post to inform the public of police training scheduled on Goshen Road.
On Tuesday, February 18, 2025, from 7am-5pm, there will be police training occurring at 8 Goshen Road in Waterford, Connecticut.

There is no school in session on the 18th and there is no emergency at the school or the residence at #8 where the training will take place. This is a training exercise only.
You will see police training signs, police vehicles and police officers from a few towns as our regional SRT team uses this empty house for training.
We plan to use the side parking lots the best we can and do not anticipate any disruption to the neighbors and or traffic.
