Woman Buys Ice Cream With Fake $100 Bill: Waterford Police
The alleged incident occurred at Cold Stone Creamery on Hartford Turnpike.

The Waterford Police Department is hoping someone from the public recognizes the woman in the attached photo. She is suspected of paying for ice cream with a counterfeit $100 bill.
At approximately 3:45 p.m. March 8, a woman allegedly conducted a counterfeit transaction at the Cold Stone Creamery located at 909 Hartford Turnpike.
"The clerk stated the female entered the store and purchased an ice cream with (1) $100 bill," police said in an April 3 release. "The bill was confirmed counterfeit and no vehicle is associated with this incident."
Description of the Suspect
- Hispanic female
- Brown hair dyed a red/pink hue
- Brown eyes
- Wearing a black jacket, black pants and pink shoes
- 5'5 in height
- Between 25 and 35 years of age
