Bring Back 3D Doritos! Youth Volunteer Book Sale, West Hartford Toastmasters

Good morning, West Hartford! Today is Tuesday, Aug. 20, 2013; there are 133 days left in the year.

I recently wrote about how the good people who make Doritos need to bring back 3D Doritos.

Welp, I found a petition - signed by over 12,000 people - calling for the same thing.

I’m not entirely sure of the efficacy of such online petitions. I mean, there’s an online petition calling for George Lucas to re-insert the original cantina scene back into Star Wars. I agree wholeheartedly, as Han Solo is such a bad uh lover of mothers, he has to be the one to shoot first.

It’s true on the most elemental of levels.

However, just 7 people have signed that petition. How much momentum can one of these things get?

Still, one could only hope that starting such a thing would bring back something or someone so beloved.

Here are five things going on in the area today.

1. There’s a Youth Volunteer Used Book Sale today.

2. The Hartford Lockup for MDA is also today.

3. There’s a seminar on effective pitching, and they don’t mean baseball.

4. West Hartford Toastmasters is at 5:30 p.m.
