Former West Hartford Teacher, Again, Accused Of Touching Child: Police
The Manchester resident was originally accused in January of inappropriately touching a pupil.

WEST HARTFORD, CT — A former teacher at a private school in West Hartford charged with inappropriately touching a student in January has been charged again with the same offense.
The West Hartford Police Department on Wednesday said Nicholas Ricciardi, 46, of Manchester, was charged June 13 with risk of injury/impairing the morals of a child.
Police said he is out on a $25,000 bond and will appear in Hartford Superior Court on June 26.

This second arrest came after police investigated Ricciardi over the winter, resulting in a second juvenile student coming forward with inappropriate touching allegations, the WHPD said.
As a result, police sought another arrest warrant, and Ricciardi was taken into custody on June 13.

Ricciardi is a former teacher from the Solomon Schechter Day School of Greater Hartford, a private school in West Hartford.
On Jan. 17, Ricciardi was charged with one count of risk of injury or impairing the morals of a child and one count of second-degree breach of peace.
At that time, he posted a court-set $40,000 bond.
According to online court records, Ricciardi is in the pre-trial phase of the prior case and will next appear in Hartford Superior Court on those charges on Aug. 21.
