The effort is part of the town's 'Vision Zero' traffic safety initiative.

WEST HARTFORD, CT — A lot is going on in West Hartford this summer in the name of pedestrian and motorist safety.
And now the town's "Vision Zero" task force is asking folks to go get a magnet for their car and show their support as well.
Folks are invited to get a "Vision Zero Safe Driver" magnet and put it on their car bumper to remind others to do their part.

"All these improvements will not make our streets safe if we don’t improve our driving behavior," wrote the town in an announcement.
