New Board Members Announced For West Hartford Mental Health Agency

The Bridge Family Center recently announced new additions to the agency's board of directors.

WEST HARTFORD, CT — A West Hartford-based mental health services agency serving West Hartford and surrounding towns recently announced new additions to its leadership panel.

The Bridge Family Center recently welcomed Helen Drohan, Jason Goddard, John Keleher, and Suzanne Miller to its board of directors. Each member will serve a three-year term.

Drohan, a retired registered nurse, has served in various nursing roles since 1979.

Goddard, a local attorney, is returning to the board after a brief hiatus.

Keleher is a 30-year veteran of the US Army Reserve, and retired director of athletics and Miller is a member of the Children’s Charity Ball planning committee and community volunteer.

“The Bridge is very excited to welcome this exceptional group to the Board. While they come
from diverse backgrounds, they share a strong commitment to our children and families. Our
Board, and ultimately the community and people we serve, will greatly benefit from their unique
experiences,” said Margaret Hann, executive director of the Bridge Family Center.

The Bridge Family Center serves approximately 9,000 youth and families each year.

In addition to its central office, counseling centers, Family Resource Center, and Teen Center in West
Hartford, the Bridge also has Mosaic Parenting Centers in Hartford and Cromwell.

Rounding out its offerings, Bridge has three specialized trauma-informed treatment assessment and reunification (STTAR) programs in Hartford, West Hartford, and Wolcott.
