Prominent West Hartford Nonprofit Names New Fiscal Chief
The Bridge Family Center in West Hartford has named a resident as its new chief financial officer.

WEST HARTFORD, CT — A local nonprofit agency specializing in counseling services for youths and families has named a new financial chief to oversee the organization's books.
The Bridge Family Center recently announced that Peter F. Maltby has assumed the position of chief financial officer at the Bridge Family Center.

In this role, Maltby will be responsible for all financial matters related to the organization, clinic operations, and management, and information technology.
With more than 30 years of experience in finance and operations leadership across the education,
non-profit and healthcare sectors, Maltby has led initiatives in capital project management,
system integrations, and financial strategy.

He most recently served as chief financial officer at Forman School, a private boarding school in Litchfield.
Maltby holds an MBA in business analytics from Central Connecticut State University and a BS in accounting from the University of Hartford.
“The Bridge is very excited to welcome Pete to this role. His expertise in financial management
will be an asset to the organization as we enhance operational efficiencies and maintain a
strong and solid fiscal position,” stated Margaret Hann, Executive Director of the Bridge Family
Center.
Maltby is a resident of West Hartford.
The Bridge Family Center serves approximately 9,000 youth and families each year. In addition
to its central office, counseling centers, family resource center, and teen center in West
Hartford, the Bridge also has Mosaic Parenting Centers in Hartford and Cromwell, and three
specialized trauma operations in Hartford, West Hartford, and Wolcott.
