Bonnie Wilder is a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT). She graduated from Sacred Heart University in 2020 with a BS in Exercise Science and obtained her DPT in 2023 from University of Hartford. She is also certified in dry needling and trained in functional cupping, blood flow restriction (BFR), and performing running gait analyses.
“I’m looking forward to working with clients at this fantastic new facility, combining my expertise with top-of-the-line equipment to benefit the people I work with,” Bonnie Wilder said. “Physical therapy can help people in their recovery and help them to maintain optimal health so they can remain active and enjoy an active, pain-free lifestyle. That’s true for runners, athletes, and all of us.”

Throughout her doctoral program, Bonnie researched the correlation between running injuries and running biomechanics, and she now specializes in treating runners and is a certified running coach. While at Sacred Heart University, she ran Division 1 Cross Country and Track & Field and continues to run post-college having completed three of the world’s major marathons, in Boston, New York City and Chicago. She attended Watkinson School for grades 6-12 and was a varsity level athlete in multiple sports.
Physical therapy is provided for individuals of all ages. Physical therapists are licensed health care professionals who are experts in the movement system and help individuals maintain, restore, and improve movement, activity, and functioning, thereby enabling optimal performance and enhancing health, well-being, and quality of life.
