West Hartford Police: Man Crashed Car, Fled From Scene
Adam Frederick Khan, 18, faces numerous motor vehicle and drug charges.

A West Hartford man is facing numerous drug and motor vehicle charges after he allegedly drove through a stop signal, crashed into another vehicle and ran from the scene of the accident last Sunday.
Adam Frederick Khan, 18, of 49 Belcrest Road, was charged with operating under the influence of drugs or alcohol, second-degree forgery, evading responsibility, illegal possession of a hallucinogen, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of less than ½ an ounce of marijuana, and illegal manufacturing, distribution or sale of drugs, according to police.
According to the West Hartford police log, Khan drove his motor vehicle into another occupied motor vehicle, injuring a passenger, who had to be taken to the hospital.

Khan fled from the scene and was subsequently tracked down by police. Upon questioning, Khan admitted driving the vehicle, according to police.

In April, Khan was one of three teens charged after allegedly vandalizing a building at Rockledge Golf Course.
