Local author Robin Cannon will be discussing her most recent book, Into the Shallows Darkly. This crime drama is set in 1980's New England and follows a young attorney investigating the sudden deaths of his uncle's law partners, convinced that his uncle is the next target. Come enjoy a discussion and light refreshments!
Robin Cannon obtained both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Fordham University in New York City before embarking on a teaching career. She traveled extensively throughout the world and is an avid reader of Russian history as well as an antiques junkie. She wrote Tilly Fig, Rye Hill and Fireflies at Nightfall, a trilogy that went on display at the 2017 Book Expo in New York City, as well as The Vanity of Robbers, Pignoli and the Chocolate Thief, Into the Attic Darkly and its sequel, Into the Shallows Darkly. She lives in Connecticut with her husband Bob where she likes to walk the beach, play bocce, and tend to her gardens.
