First Selectwoman’s Opening Note
This week, I wanted to thank all the municipal employees for their excellent work in ensuring that the residents are safe and receive the services we provide. Over the last few months, we have accomplished so much, and I am especially grateful for the extra effort. Residents can see the completed Pickleball Courts, our first EV truck for DPW, Bridges, as well as the 18 repaved roads, which is the largest paving project in Weston history. We are currently working to complete the new roof at DPW with Solar Array, the new emergency communications system (Land Mobile Radio System), and construction of a new a Police Records room. In addition, a thank you to the Town Clerks office and the Registrars of Voters who are managing early voting, a new process for the state. Please also know that Town Hall, the Library, DPW, Parks & Recreation, Police/Fire/EMS, Senior Center, Building Dept. and Human Services are all busy, and I just want to say "cheers!" to you all. Your dedication and teamwork have made a significant impact on our community, and it does not go unnoticed. As we move forward, I encourage everyone to continue collaborating and sharing ideas to further enhance our services. Together, we can build an even stronger foundation for our town and ensure a bright future for all residents. Let’s keep this momentum going and strive for excellence in everything we do.
