'White Lives Matter' Flyers Distributed In Easton: Report
Police say they are investigating the flyers.

EASTON, CT — Flyers promoting 'White Lives Matter' have been found in Wilton and Easton, reports the Connecticut Post. Flyers were found in Easton last week and in South Wilton in September.
Police said flyers distributed in both towns appeared to be the same. Flyers were distributed in Wilton in February with a similar message.
According to the Post, the flyers read in part:

“...a new phoenix of patriots are coming out of the shadows. We are the defenders of the Constitution. We must not remain silent. Our voices will be heard everywhere. We are legion. Expect us.”
The flyers also referenced incidents of confederate statues being taken down across the country.
