Attention frozen yogurt fans: Peachwave is set to officially open in Westport on Friday.
The latest fro-yo joint to come to town is located at 170 Post Road West.
"Our goal is to create a premium experience," Gregg Roberts, owner of the Westport store, said.
Peachwave is committed to excellent customer service, Roberts said. He hopes the Westport site can become a place for families and individuals to unplug, relax, and enjoy treats.
"It's a very inviting, large store," he said. "We want to be the Shake Shack of frozen yogurt -- the premium brand of the self-serve, fro-yo experience."
Roberts, who lives in Danbury, became interested in the franchise after Peachwaves began popping up in northern Fairfield County.
"I liked the product and experience. My kids and my friend's kids loved the product," he said. So Roberts signed on to spread Peachwave to Westport.
Fro-yo flavors include!original tart, vanilla, chocolate, coconut, cheesecake, creme de menthe, fudge brownie, strawberry lemonade, and dozens more.
Peachwave is open daily from noon to 10 p.m.
