Meeting Postponed On Westport's Proposed Public Safety Complex
The Open House Charrette had been scheduled for Thursday, but has been postponed to later in the month.

WESTPORT, CT — Out of an abundance of caution due to the forecasted winter weather, Fire Chief & Emergency Management Director Nicholas Marsan has postponed the Open House Charrette for the Westport Public Safety Complex. The event has been rescheduled to Tuesday, February 25, 2025, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Center for Senior Activities, 21 Imperial Avenue.
Winter Weather Advisory is in effect from 4:00 AM to 1:00 PM EST on Thursday, warning of potentially hazardous road conditions that could impact travel.

“Your safety is our priority,” said Chief Marsan. “With the expected winter weather, we want to ensure that residents, first responders, and staff can safely attend and participate in this important discussion. We urge everyone to use caution on the roads, avoid unnecessary travel during hazardous conditions, and allow extra time if driving is necessary. We appreciate the community’s understanding and look forward to a productive conversation on February 25.”
The event format will remain the same, beginning with an Architect Presentation at 7:00 PM, followed by interactive discussions and opportunities for public feedback. Residents and stakeholders are encouraged to attend and provide input on this important project.
