Portable Classroom Lease Extension Considered In Westport: Report
The portable classrooms are being used at Long Lots School.

WESTPORT, CT — The lease agreement for two portable classrooms used at Westport's Long Lots School could be extended for two more years, the Connecticut Post reported.
The modular classrooms are currently being used for fifth-grade homerooms, due to overcrowding because three classrooms in the building are shutdown.
Under the lease terms, the district will pay $144,000 to rent the two portables for two years. The Board of Selectwomen must approve the plan.
