Rollover Accident in Westport Under Investigation

The responded Friday night to a single-car accident on Saugatuck Avenue nearby Pierway Landing, according to Westport Fire Department Assistant Chief Larry Conklin

“The sole occupant of the vehicle was out of the vehicle upon arrival,” Conklin said. “Westport EMS checked the occupant for apparent non-life threatening injuries.”

The Westport Fire department responded with one command car, one engine and one rescue.

"Norwalk Fire Department was on scene upon arrival of Westport units and placed in service by Westport Fire,” Conklin said.

The Westport Police Department was investigating the accident.
