Suspects From Carjacking Accused Of Stealing Checks In Westport: PD
One suspect has been arrested on a warrant in connection with the case, and Westport police expect to arrest the other suspect soon.

WESTPORT, CT — A 21-year-old Bridgeport man, who is a suspect in September 2024 carjacking, was arrested on a warrant by Westport police on Wednesday on charges of identity theft in connection with a stolen check case in Westport.
Elijah Holloman was charged with:
- Conspiracy to Commit Illegal Possession of Personal ID Info
- Illegal Possession of Personal ID Info
- Conspiracy to Commit Identity Theft, 3rd Degree
- Identity Theft, 3rd Degree
An arrest warrant has been obtained for the second suspect, Bridgeport resident Dominque Reid, 26, and Westport police expect to arrest him soon on similar charges.

Holloman and Reid are suspects in an armed carjacking that began in Bridgeport on Sept. 26 and ended on Oct. 3, following a high-speed chase that included the suspects crashing into a Wilton police cruiser.
On Oct. 4, Westport police were notified by Bridgeport police that "several checks belonging to residents of Westport and other local jurisdictions" were found in the stolen vehicle.

"An investigation was initiated, and a victim of the stolen checks was identified in Westport," Police Lt. Eric Woods wrote in a statement. "Through law enforcement information sharing, Elijah Holloman and Dominque Reid (age 26) were identified as the two suspects who were arrested for the stolen vehicle charges and were in possession of the stolen checks."
Holloman was held in lieu of bail of $75,000, and he is scheduled to appear in Stamford Superior Court on March 21.
