The Unitarian Church in Westport, 10 Lyons Plains Rd, Westport, is bringing back its marvelous, inside tag sale next Saturday, August 6, from 8:30AM-4PM. Early birds can pay $10 extra and come in at 8 AM. This will be rain or shine, and it is a one-day-only sale so all items are priced to move!

This popular, massive indoor sale has thousands of items donated by dozens of families. From the useful - outdoor tools, kitchen pots and pans, glasses and china -- to decorative items with loads of art and home décor, you’ll find it here. A unicycle? We have one! Area rugs? Clothing? Books? Blankets? Sheets? An arm chair or two? Toy chest? Floor lamps? Yes, yes, yes! We have not been able to hold this the last couple of years due to COVID, so we are eager to bring back to the community such a special opportunity for shopping and finding both one-of-a-kind-I-can't-believe-I-found-this! treasures, and regular-household-must-have goods. All items for sale are in good condition: if we wouldn't take it home with us, we wouldn't expect you to, either!

Proceeds will fund the operating costs of the congregation and the social justice causes it supports, of which there are too many to list here: please go to our website uuwestport.org and find out all that we do. We are a diverse and welcoming religious community, free of creed and dogma, and open to people of all backgrounds and beliefs, with lay-led summer services offered at 10 AM on Sundays with childcare provided.
