Westport Democrats Seek Candidate To Run For First Selectman
Election Day 2025 in Westport is scheduled for Nov. 4.

WESTPORT, CT — The Westport Democratic Town Committee is looking for residents who are interested in running for First Selectman, according to party officials.
DTC Chair Michelle Mechanic said that for privacy reasons, she will not share details of the party's applicants for elected positions, but interest is high among residents for the First Selectman's seat.
The party is also looking for candidates for other elected positions, but it is currently focusing on the First Selectman's post. The DTC will shift to looking for candidates for other elected seats in April.
