Wethersfield Historical Society and Modern Vintage Opera present "Parlor Serenade," a winter concert collaboration featuring the professional voices of Modern Vintage Opera in the lush and atmospheric parlor of the Hurlbut-Dunham House. Featuring acclaimed tenor Daniel Juárez and “captivating” mezzo-soprano Julie Rumbold singing a variety of well-known classics and historical art songs, this is a rare opportunity to enjoy gala-level voices in an intimate period setting. Alexis Zingale, nationally-known pianist, will accompany.
Seating is limited to 25 for one performance only. Attendees will be treated to light refreshment after the concert. Tickets are $40 per person and can be purchased on Ticket Tailor. There is ample free parking behind the Keeney Memorial Cultural Center (200 Main Street, Wethersfield) or on street.
