Anelise Browne, 14, is Rolling Hills' "Youngest Women's Golf Champion"

Anelise Browne, age 14, won the 2013 Rolling Hills Country Club Champion on Monday, September 2nd,  to earn the title of Youngest Women’s Golf Champion in the history of the club, which was established in 1961, according to a release from the club.

This talented young lady defeated the 2012 Women’s Club Champion, Tracy Rosen to secure her historical champion title.

Ms. Browne’s parents, Linda Kommel Browne and David Browne, have been Rolling Hills members since 1998 and their five children have grown up with access to the only golf course in Wilton from a young age.

In the past few years Ms. Browne has truly become an avid golfer. This is not the first big win for Ms. Browne this summer, according to a release from Rolling Hills Country Club. Ms. Browne and her Rolling Hills team of Cameron Chottiner, her brother, BK Browne and RHCC Junior Golf Director, Mike DiMeglio, won the 2013 Pro-Junior at the Lake Isle Country Club on July 24th.

In addition, the Staples High School Girls Coaching Staff is extremely proud of Ms. Browne, who received the team's “Freshman Sensation Award” for her Varsity play all season.
