WILTON, CT — The Wilton Emergency Management reports that there is a bear in the area of the Norwalk River Trail in the area of Raymond Lane. The type of bear was not immediately released. The announcement, made via Facebook, stated that bears normally leave an area once they have sensed a human. It further stated that aggression by bears towards humans is exceptionally rare.
