Car Fire Spreads to Wilton Home, Firefighter Injured
A car fire on Pheasant Run Road spread to a Wilton home. Firefighters contained the blaze; one suffered minor injuries.
WILTON, CT — Fire crews responded to a vehicle fire that spread to a residence on Pheasant Run Road on Friday afternoon, officials said.
The Wilton Fire Department was dispatched at 3:09 p.m. after receiving reports of a car on fire. Upon arrival, firefighters confirmed that the flames had extended to the home, prompting an upgraded response. Crews worked to extinguish the fire and prevent further damage.
Firefighters overhauled the affected area and ventilated the home to remove smoke. No civilians were injured, but one firefighter sustained minor injuries and was treated at the scene.

The Weston Fire Department provided station coverage during the response. The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Wilton Fire Marshal’s Office.
