The New Canaan Mobil is participating in a two-week optional program called "Fill Up For Kids: Fueling The future for kids with special needs," supporting The Genesis Fund and local hospitals.
In addition to donating between one- and five-cents-per-gallon sold to the organization during the length of the promotion -- Mobil's local hospital of choice is the Yale New Haven Hospital -- customers are also able to purchase small paper bears to hang up around the store for $1 or $5, with all proceeds going directly to charity.
